I've been to this Haidilao location a total of two times and it's been a 5/5 experience both times. Not only are the servers extremely nice and attentive, but the quality of the food is MINDBLOWINGLY good. I definitely remembering me smiling throughout each Haidilao meal because everything is just so delicious and flavorful. Shoutout to the Tomato Broth, which is not spicy and is packed with flavor! I'll definitely be getting that broth again next time. Oh, and you MUST order the handpulled noodles because it comes with a cool show where an employee does this "handpull noodle dance" and they even play fun music while this show goes on. The noodles are definitely fresh, chewy, and delicious, but the show brings fun, happy vibes to your dining experience as well. The only "downside" that I don't love is that they do charge you $3.99 to grab sauce or random "snacks" in their "bar cart" near the side of the restaurant. It's a definitely cool and aesthetic concept, but I just felt this added price isn't necessary since most hotpot places don't charge for sauces and that the Haidilao menu is generally on the higher priced side already. Just sharing my personal opinion though. For complete transparency, it is pretty easy to spend over $100+ here between just two people, but I will say that the quality of their shabu meats and broths is definitely worth trying at least once! I definitely want to come back again soon!!!

Simple. Food is amazing and we tried their new broth which was amazing. Ambiance is great and bustling. The greatest thing of all is their staff. I couldnt believe how kind they are. They made us the sauces that were delicious, made us dessert, and even packed us some snacks. Remember this is a self-serve restaurant. I highly recommend. There are some good hot pot places in Irvine but to be honest, I would stick with Haidi and their awesome service.
